What it is
Nobody builds their own city. You build one with the neighbor on your right and one with the neighbor on your left, so you end up with two, and neither is fully yours. You draw tiles, keep one, pass the rest, and decide together with each neighbor where it goes.

How it plays
At the end of the game you only count the worse of your two cities, so you can’t take care of one and neglect the other. And if it’s your first game, your neighbor is forced to help you: that city is theirs too. Tiles get chosen all at once by everyone, so even with seven players the game flows with no downtime.

The nugget
Thirty minutes, and tiles get chosen all at once by everyone, so even with seven players the game flows with no downtime. It was designed by two people, Ben Rosset and Matthew O’Malley, who’s on Instagram as @blackoakgames. @ghenosgames brings it out in Italian.
At our table
Nine games on our table, and I still haven’t figured out how to keep both cities standing.
The box
What’s your go-to game for seven players?
Past five players, almost everything grinds to a halt. This one runs in parallel, so nobody’s waiting around.
